Tuesday, February 13

6pm – 8pm  (Stop by anytime between those hours.)

Join us in the Fellowship Hall for pancakes, sausage, apple sauce, coffee and juice prepared and served by the CTR RezMen. There is no set charge for the supper, but donations are appreciated.

The Pancake Supper comes from the old tradition of using up all fat in the house before Lent begins.  This is what gives the day before Ash Wednesday its most familiar name ‘Fat Tuesday.’  In England, the day before Ash Wednesday became known as ‘Shrove Tuesday,’ derived from the archaic English word shriven, which has to do with being pardoned of one’s sins.

All are welcome to attend.
