Monday through Friday at 6:30pm, we will be live streaming a shortened service of Evening Prayer.  Think of this as a way of being a virtual community at prayer together through this crisis and beyond.

Doing Evening Prayer and being shaped by the Daily Office is part of our heritage and calling as Anglicans.  I don’t think a full Evening Prayer is conducive to streaming, so I have made a few alterations to shorten it.  But the pattern and feel of Evening Prayer is still very much present.

To access and participate in the service, go to https://www.facebook.com/ChurchRezFuquay/
Anyone can watch, you do not need to be on Face Book in order to access the service.  Shortly before the livestream begins, a large red “video” button will appear on your screen.  Click on that, and wait for the service to begin.

I encourage you to participate as often as you are able.  Not only is this another way of keeping us connected to each other during this time, it gives us a way of bringing the happenings of each day before the Lord in prayer as this crisis unfolds. You might know others who would like to pray with us.  Please share it with them, on FaceBook and otherwise.

A document containing the words used during the service has been uploaded to the Notes section of the Facebook Page.
